Our Beginning

The impetus behind the establishment of Great Commission Coaching was my desire to leverage my expertise and experience to provide support to pastors, church planters, and church leaders throughout Latin America. I observed a significant disparity in resource allocation compared to pastors in the United States, particularly in the southeastern region of Mexico, particularly around Cancun, where I had established a strong network of relationships.

Our Vision for the Future

In contemplating the trajectory of Great Commission Coaching, our primary objective remains to continue serving in our current areas of focus. However, we anticipate that God will present opportunities and guide us to expand our reach to regions where the things that we have to offer are in high demand. It is evident that God often orchestrates this through relationships and the inner prompting of the Holy Spirit, and it will be evident to all that that’s the direction that we should go.

Our Mission

Great Commission Coaching exists to serve the churches of Latin America to equip, train and encourage pastors and leaders in order that they can become the church that matures, reproduces, and sends.

Our Values

  • The establishment, growth, and maturity of the church throughout Latin America. The local church is God’s primary mission strategy to change people and their communities.

  • Community life and ministry is shaped by God’s grace for us in His Son, Jesus Christ. The Gospel is central for all of life and our teaching.

  • A ministry that is shaped, guided, inspired and taught by our theology. The sovereign grace of God saves sinners and shapes the local church.

    The five solas of the Reformed faith are: by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, and for the glory of God alone.

  • The Love of God changing communities refers to the transformative impact of divine grace an unmerited favor and love from God on individuals and, by extension, their communities. This change manifests through actions like forgiveness, compassion, supporting others, and fostering unity, all stemming from a personal encounter with and understanding of grace. It leads to more authentic, loving, and supportive communities as people are motivated to extend the same grace they have received to others.
