I’ve had wonderful opportunities to work with Juan Carlos Bonilla and his family in ministry over the past 20 years. Juan Carlos’s passion is sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether preaching or having a personal conversation, his enthusiasm for teaching from the Scriptures is contagious. He embodies the Great Commission in Matthew 28:16-20. It is with excitement that I support and recommend Juan Carlos Bonilla and his family for their ministry work. As a college student, I joined my church’s mission teams during summer breaks and served on two short-term missions trips. We ministered, fellowshiped, and participated in community outreach. During my second trip, I interned with them, witnessing Juan Carlos train local pastors, Ruth teach Bible lessons to hundreds of students, and many people come to Christ. The Bonilla family has inspired me to pursue full-time ministry and exemplifies the sacrifice and service of a servant of the Lord.

Pray for our upcoming teaching trip to Champoton, Campeche, where two team members will be teaching Evangelism and Missions to a group of 35 pastors. Additionally, our Director will join us in Valladolid, Yucatan, to sign a partnership agreement with a large Mexican denomination.
Please pray for a team traveling to Cuba to teach in 3 different areas:
A new group of 50+ pastors on the Gospel
A group of 50 women at the church that we partner with. The women will receive encouragement through the Psalms and make a craft.
A group of 100 kids that we are helping to lead a Vacation Bible School.
Please pray for a group of 3 from our team who will teach a group of 50+ pastors and leaders in the towns of Cordoba and Veracruz. Our new team member, Daniel Legters, will join the team for his first trip.
Please pray for a team from Great Commission Coaching who will travel to Brazil to lead a training conference in Sao Paolo. Please pray for protection while traveling and for this conference to encourage all of the national pastors and leaders who will attend.
Please pray for a team from Great Commission Coaching who will lead two trainings in Ecuador. One training will be to teach how to lead small groups. The second training will be a follow-up to the March training in Quito where we will continue teaching about leadership.

Pray for the team from Great Commission Coaching who will attend a conference in Bogota. Pray that through this conference new contacts can be made for future teaching and coaching opportunities.

Please pray for a team from Great Commission Coaching who will travel to Mexico to lead a training conference in the state of Campeche. Please pray for protection while traveling and for this conference to encourage all of the national pastors and leaders who will attend.

A team is going to Cuba to take needed supplies and medicine. We will not be teaching this trip, but encouraging our Cuban brothers and sisters with supplies, prayers and friendship. The Cuban pastor with whom we are partnering, wept when I told him we were coming to just simply encourage them. He says, "we gain so much hope from your visits." Pray for safety.
April 29-May 2, 2026
Please pray for two of our team members who will travel to Quito, Ecuador to provide the first set of training for pastor and church leaders. They have already asked us for training 3 times a year and we are excited about these new open doors in Quito.
Please pray for our whole team from Great Commission Coaching who will gather in Mexico for a team retreat and a training with national pastors and wives in Cancun. Please pray that our time together will be an encouragement to each of us and that God will use us to encourage the pastors and their wives.
Please pray for a team from Great Commission Coaching that will meet with the leadership team from City-to-City in Monterrey, Mexico to share our mission, vision and classes that we teach in order to see how we can partner with their church planters to provide training.
Please pray for the country of Cuba as they are undergoing a very difficult crisis with a lack of electricity, gas, food and internet. Please pray for the team from Great Commission Coaching who will teach a new group of students in Cuba.
We give praise to God that our whole team from Great Commission Coaching will travel to Cuba in November for the graduation of the first seminary students that our team has been helping to teach. We will also be part of a children’s evangelism outreach and lead a two-day women’s outreach event. Please pray for all of these events, the preparations, and the seminary students as they continue in ministry.
Please pray for our team who will travel to Colombia in October to speak at a pastor’s conference. The topic is “How the Gospel Changes Everything,”
Please pray for our team who will travel to Argentina in October to attend a City-to-City conference where we will make new contacts with leaders throughout Latin America.
For new and lifelong long-term relationships with the different groups of pastors from the different denominations that we will be serving in Chile.
For God's provision for all the tickets, housing, meals, etc., that are needed to make these trips possible as we train and coach the national pastors and church planters in Bolivia.
For the weekly Bible club in Cuba that began after our team led the first VBS at the church that we partner with in Cuba. Praise God for all the children who weekly attend to learn God’s Word.
A team from Great Commission Coaching worked intensively with two teams in Cuba that will plant two new churches in La Habana. These teams include two church planters along with their wives, and two missionaries.
Pray for a vision trip to Cuba in September for American pastors and church leaders to see the needs of the church in Cuba and how they can come alongside to serve and encourage the church in Cuba.
