Why give?

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:7

To give is to reciprocate the blessings we have received, which include grace and forgiveness. We give as a joyful response to the gospel. Everything we possess belongs to God; we are merely stewards of His gifts. The cheerful and generous giver experiences freedom and the fullness of grace. It is a profound privilege and a source of immense joy to be a part of God’s divine work in missions.
